Research and Funding

Many centers exist that focus on the study of aging or the study of disability. CHAD is unique in that we study the relationship of health, aging and disability and their impact on quality of life.

We employ an interdisciplinary and translational approach to research that focuses on:

Research Focus

• Aging across the entire lifespan
• A broad definition of health that includes not only prevention, but enhancement of quality of life for people with chronic disease or disability
• Development of affordable and usable technologies
• Community-based research

We are currently building research teams to investigate a number of areas pertinent to our mission. As our teams begin their investigations we will post reports on this site. If you are interested, join a research team.
