launched campus-wide Health and Wellness Initiative.
Housed in Huff Hall, the Health and Wellness Initiative, in conjunction with CHAD will:
Mission
- Bring together scholars from a wide-range of units with expertise in health research
- Expand capacity and prominence of health and wellness research at Illinois though innovative work, new partnerships and large, multi-investigator efforts
- Position the institution for highest levels of success in securing external support for innovative scholarship in health and wellness arena.
Members of the Center on Health, Aging, and Disability's Advisory Committee are: Ken Watkin, Edward McAuley, and Wojtek Chodzko-Zajko,
with Dean Tanya Gallagher serving as the director of the Center.
The Center is holding its second annual symposium on Friday, March 13, 2009. The theme of the symposium is The Science of Behavior Change.
